This notice covers reservation enquiries, the contact form and chat on the Berraksu Hotel website. Separate identification, invoicing and statutory accommodation records follow their own processes.

Data and purposes
Reservation enquiries include your name, email, phone, room preference, stay dates, guest counts and notes. Contact enquiries include your name, email, optional phone and message. We use these to respond, prepare offers and manage your enquiry. Chat records include messages, timestamps, language and handover status. Do not send identity documents, card details or sensitive data such as health information.
Collection and legal grounds
Data is collected electronically through forms and chat. Depending on the activity, the grounds under Turkish Law No.6698 Article 5/2 are steps directly related to entering into or performing a contract, legitimate interests that do not harm your fundamental rights, legal obligations and establishing or protecting rights. Marketing permissions are requested separately and are optional.
Access and providers
Authorised hotel staff can access enquiries and chat. Cloudflare provides hosting, storage and security. Recent chat messages may be processed by Cloudflare Workers AI for automated replies; automation stops after staff take over. Email correspondence uses the hotel's Google email service. WhatsApp/Meta applies when you use WhatsApp, and Google applies when you open a Google Maps link. Providers process information under their own applicable terms. Data may also be provided to competent authorities or necessary advisers where legally justified.
International services
Cloudflare, Google and WhatsApp/Meta services may process or store data outside Türkiye. The reading acknowledgment is not blanket consent to international transfers. The controller must establish the applicable transfer grounds and safeguards; reading this notice or agreeing to marketing does not itself satisfy those obligations.
Retention and security
Retention depends on the enquiry, the needs of the activity, applicable legal obligations and protection of rights. Staff access is restricted by administrator authentication and two-factor verification. Contact the controller to request information, correction or erasure where applicable. This notice does not mean all records are automatically erased on a fixed date.
Cookies and links
Cookies support language preferences, chat continuity and secure administrator access. The chat session cookie lasts up to 7 days and the administrator session 8 hours. Essential cookies support language selection, chat continuity and secure administrator access. Daily pageview totals by country, source group, device class and page help us understand site performance. The statistics table does not store IP addresses, visitor IDs, full referrer URLs or page queries; no additional analytics cookies are used. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control requests are respected. Map content and external links share connection information with the relevant provider. You can manage cookies in your browser; blocking essential cookies may affect chat or sign-in.
Marketing choices
This website does not currently collect email or WhatsApp marketing permission or send automatic campaigns. A response to your reservation or contact enquiry is not marketing consent. If marketing choices are introduced later, they will be separate, optional and unchecked, with the applicable commercial-messaging and consent-register process.
Your rights and requests
Under Article 11 of Turkish Law No.6698, you may ask whether and how your data is processed, learn the purposes and recipients, request correction and, where conditions apply, deletion or destruction and notification to recipients. You may object to adverse results arising solely from automated analysis and seek compensation for unlawful processing. Submit a request that allows your identity to be verified to the controller's postal address or info@berraksuhotel.com in accordance with applicable procedures. Do not send identity documents through general chat.
Guest directory and follow-up
Authorised hotel staff may bring together the names, phone numbers and emails you provide in forms or chat, link your enquiries and add necessary follow-up notes to respond to your requests. Suggested chat contact details come only from visitor messages. A matching number or email does not verify identity, and records are not automatically merged. A guest record is not marketing permission. Contact us to correct your details or restrict communication.
